Ms. Yip Wai Man, Founder of AHMA, is Honored to Serve as Honorary Patron of AH SHOW

Recently, Ms. Yip Wai Man (Linda), a leading figure in the Asian hairdressing and styling industry and Founder of AHMA HAIR COUNCIL (Hong Kong Hairdressing Association), has been officially invited to serve as the Honorary Patron of AH SHOW. This appointment not only recognizes her over 40 years of outstanding achievements in the beauty industry but also injects professional momentum into AH SHOW, empowering the innovation and upgrading of the Greater Bay Area's beauty sector.

Widely acclaimed as a "Pioneer and Pathfinder" in the industry, Ms. Yip Wai Man founded Hong Kong Lianda Beauty Group in 1979, developing it into a world-leading R&D and manufacturing enterprise specializing in mannequin heads for hairdressing training. In 2010, she initiated the establishment of AHMA and led the organization of landmark events such as the 2018 Hong Kong Hairdressing & Styling Art Festival and the 2024 Greater Bay Area Cup, building a vital bridge for exchanges between the Greater Bay Area and the international market.
With decades of dedication to the industry, Ms. Yip Wai Man has been honored with titles including "China's Top 10 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs" and appointed Honorary Fellow of the Vocational Training Council (Hong Kong). She also serves as a Special Vice President of the China Hairdressing and Beauty Association, among other key roles. Upholding the philosophy of "Passing the Torch," she has fostered young talents through initiatives such as establishing special funds and collaborating with educational institutions. In 2014, she spearheaded a charitable donation of HK$1 million to the Hong Kong Design Institute to support student development.
